I do a variety of things to keep me occupied

I do a lot of painting of 3d printed items. I get quite a few requests of realistic animals from people. I have done turtles, squirrels, owls, Axolotls and more. I prefer painting stuff of my choosing, but I often take a request. Especially of something I haven’t done before. The Labyrinth board game, I purchased specifically to paint the figures. after doing so, I resold the unplayed game with the painted figures. I enjoyed doing this instead of something like a Warhammer army as there is a variety of single characters here.

Here is Clare from the Anime Claymore. One of my favorites amongst many. The statue in the back, I have made a limited run of pendants and more recently have made a very limited run of pins. Please check in the shop for those.
On top of painting, casting, cutting coins, I enjoy horror movies, anime, a little too much YouTube, playing video games, and listening to a variety of music. My friend tells me no one likes the kind of music I tend to listen to. I figure there must be others. On my Spotify playlist, I have K-pop, In this Moment, Tori Amos, David Bowie, J-pop, Anime soundtrack songs, Morrisey, some 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s songs. I do however, dislike most hip-hop, blues, jazz and country music. Although there is the odd song I find sounds good.
On top of all those things, I really enjoy cooking. I lean towards Asian flavors, but also love Italian, Mexican, British, some Indian, and some Slavic cuisines. I have recently gotten into more baking and dessert items. during Christmas markets I sell a super spicy fudge made with ghost pepper extract, It is actually best served in a hot chocolate.
Finally, I started doing some minor Blacksmithing last year, Unfortunately I started to develop arthritis in my hands at nearly the same time. So I haven’t been doing much of that. my hands aren’t too bad, but forging is definitely hard on them. The hardest thing of being disabled is learning to accept the things you can and cannot do. like finances where we live at or just above our means, most healthy people are willing to push themselves a little more. The recovery time isn’t too bad. For me, pushing myself means I suffer greatly for sometimes days at a time. All because I went and did a little more than I knew I should.
